The movies in this section (Click'n'Go) are intended to give a quick play of various animated seqences used in the making of Virtual Universe. The images are 'lossless' so give a crisp picture, they load to, then play from RAM so should give good playback rates on most machines.
Check out the file sizes (view by size) and try some of the smaller files first - the larger ones will take a while to load from CD-ROM to your RAM chips.
Don't think your sound chip/sound card has failed - 99% of these animations are without soundtrack.
